Comparison of Red River brand satin / luster inkjet papers
Surface texture comparison
Each paper has a slightly different e-surface texture depth. The photos below try and illustrate the differences. Each photo has been converted to black & white to help enhance the texture features of each paper. The more pronounced the texture surface and depth, the more you will be able to see the texture when viewing the print. Bear in mind that at long distances the texture is not observable. Generally, more texture = less reflections and glare.
Papers with small amounts of surface texture, such as Arctic Polar Satin, are still much less glossy than gloss papers.
