Here are some examples:

Visit a Convention or Trade Show

There are a wide variety of trade shows to choose from to attend seminars or to network with others who share your passion. Red River Paper will be attending Imaging USA in one week in Phoenix, AZ! We will also be attending Carolinas' Nature Photographers Association in Raleigh, Society for Photographic Education in Baltimore, The Big Photo Show in Los Angeles, and more in 2014!

Join a Local Photography Club

Whether you are a professional or an enthusiast, networking always helps. Photography Clubs are the best places to discuss self-promotion ideas, photography vacations, trends, and printing tips. Many clubs even own an inkjet printer for members to use, and members can order bulk paper for a volume discount (and spend less on shipping). The Photographic Society of America has a variety of clubs to join, and there are still more individual clubs via Facebook or meetup.com.
