Greeting Card Printer Crisis Looms

It appears that both Canon and Epson are moving towards front-feed only desktop/all-in-one printers (for 8.5x11 and smaller sheets).

A basic understanding of gravity highlights the potential trouble for those using card stock and specialty media. The top rear tray design is clearly superior, yet we must take the hand we're dealt.

If you print on greeting cards and other small sheets, we recommend getting rear-feed machines like the Canon Pixma MG6220, Canon Pixma MG8220, or Epson Artisan 50 before they are off the market forever.

Here are some direct shopping links to our favorite greeting and note card printer models:

2. Canon PIXMA MG8220 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-In-One Printer
3. Epson Artisan 50 Color Inkjet Printer
