Color Management The Color Controls selection is the default status of Epson driver color management. This setting means that the Epson driver is in charge of color manging your print and is the most basic form of controlling color. Color Mode: The default choice is Epson Standard. An alternative choice is Epson Vivid and creates more saturated prints. Its best to simply try this setting to see if you like the results. A series of sliders control basic aspects of print quality and color. Gamma: Tells Epson color management software what gamma or "contrast ratio" you use. In this instance, gamma refers to contrast space of your monitor. Our recommendation is to leave it a the default value of 1.8. Used When: You are not using an ICC profile for printing or you prefer the Epson driver to manage color of your prints.
