Recently I ordered the Inkjet Photo & Paper Sampler(Item#9995) from Red River Paper, as well as the 75lb. Arctic Polar Luster(item#1186). The recommendation came from Professor Rubert Njaa, of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (Online division). I must say I was very pleased with the product and the company services. The paper was used for a course final project, met with fantastic results, and a 100% final grade in the course.
The sample kit contained two sheets of each recommended paper qualities for fine art print, as well as a brochure with listings of paper selection designators and size selection. Also, the kit contained a flyer with recommended paper selection settings for various printers to be used with the various paper samples.
From utilizing and comparing results with the International Color Consortium (ICC) profiles (provided by Red River Paper), recommended paper settings (from Red River) for my Epson, I had very impactful images and chose the 75 Arctic Polar Luster overall for my nature and landscape photography.
The weight and professional quality of the luster (size 11 x 14)exceeded my expectations, and following the accompanying flyer for print settings, added even more to the final product quality.
The services and shipping of the product truly shined through for me personally. I was on a tight schedule for this project and I was concerned with receiving the product(s) on time due to weather conditions in Texas (I reside in Pennsylvania). Needless to say, through Red River Papers exceptional service, I received the product, packaged with extreme care for shipping, just in time to finalize and print the project.

I love this paper!!! The print is so vibrant. I will always buy my paper from red river. As a handmade journal maker, I've found no other paper that prints as well as this does.

This is my GO TO paper! I have two printers, an Epson EcoTank and an Epson Artisan. This paper works gives me high quality, color rich prints from my EcoTank. I'm a digital scrapbooker and junk journal maker and this is a great, lightweight paper for my projects. I wish it was available in a double-sided option because I would buy that too!

I bought this paper on a whim to produce labels for my artisan chocolates. WOW what a difference great paper makes. I did have an issue with making certain I was printing on the correct side. At first I didn't realize it was only coated on one side. RRPC has a sheet that tells you how to tell which side is coated (not easy) Now that I figured that out with RRPC's help, the paper is great.

I have been looking for the right paper for a long time now. Drew helped me. He recommended the 26-lb. ColorJet and it’s turned out to be perfect for my needs (I use it in an Xerox). The standards that are kept in the production of this paper were also very important to me, not just the paper itself, and that has turned out to be perfect as well. I was incredulous when I actually found something that fit my requirements.
I gotta say, what strikes me most is how Drew went above and beyond to get the paper to me, even though my request was irregular. He did it. And then he went above that, too. Instant loyal customer. This company gives me hope for humanity, no lie.

The coating applied to this paper really is spectacular. I didn't believe the stark contrast until I sent a print through myself.

Great Lightweight Paper

I have bought many different types of paper for my journals. This paper met all of my expectations and beyond. It soaks up the ink like a sponge. That is what I look for because I want vibrant color and 3D quality for my journal pages. Yes, if there is too much ink, the paper will curl a little or lose its shape. I lay it aside to dry and then press it in a book if it is a problem. The colors are so deep and vibrant. I just love this paper.
