88lb. Polar Matte Handling Guide

The new 88lb. Polar Matte Card Stock is an extremely heavy and thick photo inkjet paper. As such, you will need to excercise some care when handing this product.

Some Basic Tips

  • Feed one sheet at a time!
  • Set your thick media setting. Tips on how to do this here
  • Assist the printer - give the paper a light push as the feed cycle begins

What Printers Can Use This Paper

This paper is ideal for printers with single sheet specialty feed paths. Printers with this capability include but are not limited to:

  • Epson Pro printers
  • Epson higher end desktop (R2880, R3000)
  • Canon Prograf wide format printers
  • Check your printer manual if you're in doubt

Other desktop printers are also capable of using paper this thick / heavy

  • Epson desktop
  • Canon desktop

DO NOT use this paper if you have

  • Epson Artisan 7XX or 8XX series printer
  • HP printer
  • Any printer that only feeds paper from the feed cassette
