Best Inkjet Photo Paper for Sports Photography
Sports photography traditionally strives for images that are bright, well saturated, and razor sharp. To meet those needs your first choice should be a high gloss inkjet paper. Its smooth, bright white surface helps accentuate details and bold uniform colors.
Your next choice would be a satin or luster paper. This surface maintains excellent saturation while adding more protection from handling and fingerprints. Choosing a bright white paper is still important, although a slightly warmer satin helps with skin tones and the natural colors on the field of play.
Finally, for the artistic and journalistic look you might consider a photo matte. The non-reflective surface works to remove the edgy nature of an image and to accentuate the subtle detail.
