Reviews for UltraPro Satin Photo Board

This board is not flat.

The surface of this board prints nicely. But there is a major problem with the box of 10 sheets I received. Rather than being flat, each board is warped, curved, especially on one end. (As though the batch is quite old, or has not been stored properly.) Printed on an P800, the print head struck the paper on that end, ruining the print. I thought maybe I didn't load the board correctly, since I hadn't printed on board before. So I turned the board around, hoping that if the more convex end was printed first, it would be OK. But the board is curved to the extent that it got stuck; the printer thought it was pulling the board through, but was only depositing ink on the first half inch of board.

Metallic Photo Paper

I bought this paper because of the reviews, and I was in love with this paper from the first image I printed. I started with the 8x10 size, then to 13x19, because the colors were so rich and the blacks so deep. I highly recommend this paper to all.

"I look for a luster surface for my B&W images, but the paper must also take well to a sepia tone with the warmer whites that I prefer, holding strong. Red River Arctic Polar Satin prints that I output on my Epson Stylus Pro 3800 printer give that edge to my work."
