Life in a Bubble

Backpacking in Ireland in 2006, Tom Storm, 32, remembers being part of the crowd at the Galway Festival when bubbles from a nearby vendor floated by him.

When to Use Photo Black & Matte Black

A number of photo inkjet printers use two different primary black inks - Photo Black or Matte Black. Each is optimized for a certain type of inkjet media.

Use Photo Black for glossy, satin, and luster inkjet papers. Some fine art media like fiber-based baryta also require the use of Photo Black inks. You will use Matte Black inks for cotton fine art, Blanco Matte Canvas, and matte inkjet media. Matte papers are usually smooth and have a flat non-reflective surface.
