You can use River Linen for greeting and note cards, portraits, portfolios, and many other inkjet printing projects. River Linen is an archival paper made from pure alpha cellulose. It is acid and lignin-free.

A welcome surprise

When I ordered several boxes of 5x7 photo and matte paper I included River Linen 230 which I had never tried before.
While everyone seems to be producing papers with the same range of surfaces and whiteness, River Linen has a very attractive textured surface that is reminiscent of papers that were popular in the middle of the last century. If you want to frame and display it you may be tempted to skip the glass.
It can be used for any image that you would print on matte paper. The texture is subtle and barely visible unless you are looking at it in the "wrong" light. The paper has a medium thickness but stiff enough to pass around.
And to top it off, it is a bargain at any size.

I create fine art greeting cards featuring reproductions of my original oil paintings, and the quality of the paper is incredibly important to me. I used to purchase less expensive card blanks, but I was never truly happy with the finished product. The difference since switching to Red River's linen cards has been remarkable!

I have loved your river linen 230 paper since I first started to do prints of my artwork. As I'm changing the way I do my prints I thought it was time to move up to archival grade prints and I will be moving up to your Duro etching 315. Thank you for putting so much effort into your paper!
