Premium Matte 230 is a professional-grade photo matte inkjet paper. At 11 mil thickness and 230 gsm, Premium Matte Plus is thicker and heavier than retail-brand premium matte papers. The extra weight and thickness convey superior quality and allow the paper to handle the heaviest ink coverage. The surface is ultra-smooth, non-reflective, and bright white.
Matte papers are excellent when you need to focus on the details of an image without any reflective distractions. They also lend a subtle character to images that might not benefit from the punch of glossy or satin media. I ordered a larger size that my usual to make prints for a friend. He and I are both delighted with the look and feel of them. The blacks are *really* black with almost a silver-print appeal. The paper, sold as matte, is not-very matte -- just what we wanted. Under glass the prints sparkle!

My business currently runs on what I print and sell of cards and matted reproductions of my paintings. Both are sold in local museums and galleries.
