Rich, Sensual for both Color and Black and White. I print with the Canon Pro Pixma 100, use RR Icc Profiles and Precision Color inks. It will not disappoint.

Printer setting for thick paper
Donald Boethel
I have noticed several complaints regarding paper feeding problems due to the thickness of this paper. I'm still using a very low end Epson Artisan 50 printer. It has a setting for thick paper which I have used without any feeding problems. Go to the printer preferences section, click on maintenance, then to print options. There is a selection for thick paper. It works for me on any thick paper I have tried. Remember to reset it when using regular paper.

The paper that behaves!
Loren Iwerks
A wonderful art paper that offers consistently excellent performance! It has become my go-to paper for printing pen/brush/ink drawings with excellent detail and color.

Have loved using this paper for years but now that they changed the thickness it is very difficult to print the smaller sizes because they can only be fed through the rear tray and are too thick for the rollers on my printer to grab(Epson Surecolor P800). This has been a super popular print size for my customers to purchase from me and now I'm going to have to search else where for paper. The paper is beautiful but I'm very disappointed it doesn't work with my printer any more.

Fabulous Replacement for Museo
I have been using Museo Artist Cards for years (220 gsm) and they have now changed to 200 gsm. Not fabulous move for pro level printers. I tried this paper, yes a touch heavier, and it is a fabulous alternative. I am thrilled as there will be no disruption in service to my artist card customers!

New paper is too thick - printer can't grab it
The new version of the paper is too thick. I use Canon pro-1000 printer and with the thicker paper have to use the manual feed in the back in order to make my prints now (this process is far more time-consuming vs using the rear tray). The prints look great and I love the quality of the paper, but, unfortunately the manual feed won't hold 5x7" paper so I have to use the rear tray and have to make several attempts each time to get the printer to grab the paper. I am sad to say that after using this paper for years, I will be looking for an alternative.

Great Paper!

I'm just starting to print my Art prints from home. I ordered the sample pack and was able to compare the papers to the print company I currently use. The Aurora Natural was such a close match it was perfect! Just order different sizes so I can start printing from home!

Excellent paper and no problems printing with Canon Pixma Pro-100
Tara Rodden Robinson
I am extremely pleased with the quality of this paper and, unlike another reviewer, have experienced no problems printing with my Canon Pixma Pro-100. I started with the Aurora Natural C2S 7 x 10 greeting cards and got roller marks when printing borderless (this required folding the cards and feeding the double thickness through). Even with the iffy review, I went ahead and ordered the "new" Aurora Art Natural 285 which turns out to be 18 mil thick versus the 13.5 mil of the C2S card stock. I got beautiful richly colored prints that are very true to the color and contrast of my original work (which was acrylic on paper) and no roller marks. (I do have "prevent paper abrasion" still checked in setting and have not tried yet printing with this setting off.) I am beyond pleased with the results and the shipping was extremely quick even with the holiday rush.

New Version too thick
I was a big fan of the original Aurora Natural. Although the new version is very high quality it doesn't work as well with my printer (Canon Pro-100). Even with the "prevent abrasion" setting on - and using manual feed - I still get print head marks that are visible on any darker areas of the print. Its super disappointing because there doesn't seem to be another 100% rag paper that is thinner in the Red River line up. I will use up my current supply on lighter coloured prints where the problem doesn't show, but after that will have to find an alternative paper. Its always frustrating when you find something that works and it gets changed and doesn't work anymore. It would be great if Red River could find a replacement to the old Aurora.

"As a fine art photographer, how the final print looks is paramount. I like how my "Blinded by Science" series looks on an exhibition quality matte paper that is brighter than the natural tones with a bit of texture, such as the 64lb. Aurora Art White paper."
