Polar Gloss Metallic 255 is a truly unique inkjet paper that closely matches the look of photo lab metallic prints. Polar Gloss Metallic features the same aspects as its lab equivalent - a high gloss finish and a pearlescent base stock that yields an elegant iridescence in your images. It is compatible with any inkjet printer and requires no special equipment, inks, or finishing techniques to achieve the metallic effect. And for a bit of trivia, Red River Paper was the first to introduce photo metallic inkjet paper to the market in 2010.
* Always display inkjet prints under glass, plastic or in a book for maximum print life.
* Rolls come wound with five extra feet at no charge
All products are compatible with aqueous inks. Not designed for solvent, latex or UV.
* Matte and cotton art media over 59b. may not feed consistently in Epson printers and may require some hand feeding.
* Epson 4000,6000,7000,9000,10000 series do not work with sizes smaller than 8.5x11
Card sizes under 8.5x11 are not compatible with Epson wide format printers

I shot photos of the beautiful fall foliage found in upstate NewYork last year. I had never used a metallic paper before but thought this might be a good opportunity to try this interesting paper surface. I was pleasantly surprised at the result! The subtle metallic finish enhanced the overall look of the fall colors in my prints. I would definitely recommend giving this paper a try!

I used PGM 255 17x22" to print a sunset scene of an Oregon beach (image sisze 13x19), and the print is stunning! I had earlier printed it on Epson Luster, and it lacked snap and intensity, but the RR paper made it shine! The print has received an Honorable mention ribbon at a local print competition, and I'm thrilled I used this paper. I do believe that if I had entered a larger size than the 13x19, the award would have been a higher ribbon than honorable mention. My smaller image among the larger prints on display was not as impressive as iit could have been.

The pictures i printed with the Metallic paper really came out good. Love the way that it looks using this paper.
