32lb. Premium Gloss

32lb. Premium Gloss is a lightweight, cast coated inkjet gloss. Cast coated paper is the "traditional" inkjet gloss that feels more like a sheet of paper than a photo. Premium Gloss features a mirror smooth reflective printing surface and bright white tone.

ALTERNATE ITEM NOTE - Premium Gloss will be out of stock until further notice. Please consider 42lb. Pecos Gloss, on sale for $19.95 / box

Used this paper to make video game covers for universal game cases and Nintendo DS cases. They came out as good as the real thing! Would highly recommend this paper.

Good but no deep blacks
John Magyar

Prints fine with my Epson 3880 and probably good for casual use. However a print of a grey scale shows no real black below about %15 reflectivity, and a loss of vibrancy for highly saturated dark colors. The surface shows bit of a milky sheen that prevents full saturation or deep blacks. If this matters to you try the excellent 42# Pecos River Gloss. It's only a little heavier and not too expensive. Note, I only tested 2 sheets that I got in the Red River paper sampler, it's possible these were faulty.

Great for CT Scan prints

This paper is a great price and the CT scan images when printed are clear with no smearing. We were using a thicker paper before, this is much more economical and the quality is great

Thinnest Glossy Paper I Can Find
KC

I've looked high and low for the thinnest glossy paper that is printer-friendly and this is it. We need photo-quality prints that can bend and flex to adhere to curved surfaces, and this does the job quite nicely. Sometimes the pages do stick when loading a stack, but loading one page at a time is a small price to pay for the quality. I'd give Red River's 32lb Premium Gloss a hundred stars if I could.

Terrible sticking issue with this paper
Michael Pierce

The paper itself is very nice, but knew instantly by the feel that it was going to be nothing but problems. Good thing this comes in a rack of 100 sheets, but still lost 36 prints out of a hundred due to double feeding from sheets sticking together

Making Buttons?
Chris
05/17/2016
I was looking for a lightweight paper to use to print photos to make 3" Photo Buttons and decided to try this. Great idea -- this lightweight paper is the perfect fit for making photo buttons. The photos look much better than if made on non-inkjet paper, and the paper is thin enough to not cause any issues when being pressed into a button! Very happy with this choice for my button making projects!

Disappointed in product, but really not the paper's fault
Dave

I love Red River papers for their quality and price. That said, this was the first disappointing purchase I've had with RR. I mostly blame myself, though. I purchased the paper in 13" x 19" for the wrong reason, thinking it would be adequate for full-sized glossy photo proofs. It's too thin to be very useful in this size format, even for proofing. It buckles which leads to glare issues when trying to evaluate the image. People looking to make CD cover inserts and other small disposable products, should be happy with the smaller sizes offered, but this paper doesn't need to exist in larger formats. Lesson learned for me.
