47lb. Red River Premium Matte has a smooth, bright white finish that produces brilliant colors and sharp details from any inkjet printer. The medium-card weight paper in the Premium Matte family, this paper offers a photo feel and is a great alternative to popular Epson, Canon and HP photo matte papers.
Papers with the Archival designtation can take many forms. They can be glossy, matte, canvas, or an artistic product. These papers are acid free, lignin free and can be made of virgin tree fiber (alpha cellulose) or 25-100% cotton rag. They are likely to have optical or fluorescent brightening agents (OBAs) - chemicals that make the paper appear brighter white. Presence of OBAs does not indicate your image will fade faster. It does predict a slow change in the white point of your paper, especially if it is displayed without UV filter glass or acrylic.

I love using the 47# and 60# Premium Matte photo paper for my art. I do 5X7 in. alcohol ink pieces on yupo paper. I then scan them in to my computer, crop them to 6X4, print them on your photo paper, and put them on greeting cards. Your paper makes my art come alive!

I use this paper with my Epson XP 950 and it's amazing. It's rewarding to snap a shot on my phone and present someone with an 11 X 17 mounted on 1/8" foam board (sticky one side). Also print from other sources. The colors are true and brilliant.

I do colored ink paintings, then scan them in to my computer, then use my prints for greeting cards. This paper makes the most beautiful prints I have ever seen. The colors are unbelievably vivid. They almost look three dimensional. I will never use any other paper for my prints.

I was a bit hesitant to order 47 lb for my art cards but they printed beautifully and were not flimsy at all. What a difference paper makes in the quality of an art card. Just make sure that you print on correct side and your colors will look like the original Art. Printing on a Canon MX922. Just ordered the linen and can't wait to see the results. I'm a 75 year old newby in printing cards to sell.

I needed an lightweight, rollable paper for making inexpensive art prints to sell at an outdoor art fair. This paper is now one of my favorites. It's gorgeous for art prints and B&W photos--very crisp & sharp with good color. Durable enough to roll, cheap enough to sell as a wall poster (10x15 on a 13x19 sheet with a "matlike" white border). Really happy with this paper. I'm using the 45lb Zeppelin semigloss for color photo prints, also with fantastic results.

For years I have been printing my scrapbook paper on plain white cardstock. It was okay..but it wasn't the best quality image compared to the files I was printing. I was also scared of getting any of the images wet...even just a tiny bit.
Red River's Matte Photo paper prints gorgeous true to images pictures, and is safe with most of my crafty techniques!
It's worth every penny!! Happy Paper Crafting!!

"I like to print my squirrel note cards on Red River 60lb. Paper Canvas card stock. It's a great textured paper, and makes my squirrels really "pop" off the card."
