Polar features a beautiful soft white printing surface with outstanding ink holdout capabilities. Its totally acid-free and its heavy 60lb. weight makes it desirable for all high-quality photo imaging including portraits and greeting cards.
Choose Polar Matte for landscapes, black and white photography, low contrast images, design, and artistic work. Polar's lack of surface reflection means that details are the primary focus of the print.
* Always display inkjet prints under glass, plastic or in a book for maximum print life.
* Rolls come wound with five extra feet at no charge
All products are compatible with aqueous inks. Not designed for solvent, latex or UV.
* Heavy papers (usually matte /art over 59lb.) may not feed consistently in HP printers. Always test a paper via our sample kit selection before making a significant purchase.

Polar matte is the "standard" matte paper offering in our print lab. Most people we meet don't understand the difference between matte and luster and almost always turn away from matte - until they see how it make BW images POP. Our personal favorite for landscapes and high contrast portraits unless the client opts for one of our FineArt options (also RR stocks)
Amazing Results and Big Timesaver

I create greeting cards from my own illustrations. I print my cards on an Epson ET 8500 and the cards look amazing. Such a bonus that they are to size and scored which has saved me hours of work. Have already gone though 3 boxes of 200 since my first order in January.
