Good overall paper feel, but I have wasted a full box trying to profile correctly the paper to my printer and inks. There is an over rendering of redness that I can not manage to adjust. icc profiles look great on screen clear of any gamut but prints come out too red for my likeness. I even used the custom profiles from Red River for Epson 4800 and even though on landscapes red was managed a little better, on portraits redness on face skin is way too much.
I hope to find a solution soon.
Compared to Epson Enhanced Matte Red River Polar Matte feels much better I like it more if I could only adjust for the extra red rendering.
Compared to Canon Matte I kind of like Canon a little better, ( on both Epson and Canon I had no issues with adjusting red casting.)

Using your Polar Matte 230 greeting cards creates beautiful cards from my paintings. I don't use fancy equipment - just my phone camera and desktop ink jet printer. You make it easy and good.
