Polar Matte excels with landscapes, black-and-white photography, artwork, design, and more. Its non-reflective surface eliminates glare, allowing fine details and tonal transitions to take center stage.

Excellent Greeting Card Paper for Most Fine Art Photography

Red River Polar Matte 230 gsm Greeting Cards have become my go-to for most of my photography. Color reproduction and detail are excellent across nearly all of my images, although I found they weren't the best fit for my nightscape work where I prefer a paper with a little more gloss and depth in the blacks. The pre-scored cards fold cleanly without cracking, I also ordered envelopes and clear protective sleeves which created a professional, ready-to-sell presentation. For wildlife, landscapes, and everyday fine art cards, they've been an excellent choice.
