This card stock made all the difference
Harold Fagley, May 07, 2026
I have been making cards with our ink jet printer for a couple of years. I was always disappointed in the snap and saturation. Using this Red River stock was a day and night change.
Edges were crisp and colors burst off the page and I used less ink to get the result. This is an excellent product at a similar price to the much worse product I was using.
Horrible customer service
Evie Eddins, May 06, 2026
Paper doesn’t feed through my printer (that’s a me problem!) but the customer service’s legitimate response to try to troubleshoot was “well can you get a different printer?”
Red River Paper Response:
We apologize that you were dissatisfied with our response to the Aurora 300 not feeding in your HP Printer.
This is the customer service's verbatim response. The point is that, for serious printing purposes using fine art paper, an HP Envy is not a viable option, and one should seriously consider a different make and model.
"Ah I see. Most HP inkjet printers are just designed for casual use (i.e., printing recipes or plane tickets or occasional photos of the kids for the fridge) and business documents. Some people do, however, use them for artwork on our lighter-weight media, such as our Polar Matte 230. Did you purchase the printer recently? (or more to the point, is exchanging the printer an option?)"
As noted in the compatibility section of our Aurora 300 product information page, it is not compatible with HP desktop printers. Please visit www.redriverpaper.com/feed for tips on feeding paper through printers to see if that helps.
Beautiful fine art postcards
Kirsten Cunha, Apr 13, 2026
I got this paper to print promotional postcards for my freelance illustration business. I'm using an Epson Eco tank 8550 printer, printing with archival, pigment based ink from Costmos Ink, The postcards printed beautifully on this paper, and it was nice to be able to print in color on both sides! Very happy. I'll definitely shop here again.
