I use this paper for art prints. The paper is wonderful. The colors are vibrant and the feel is very nice. The customer service for these folks is excellent. Drew is super nice very helpful. He spends time with you and is very good at maintaining prompt e-mail responses. There’s none of this “we’ll get back to you as soon as we can, up to three business days.” And by the time they respond, if they do, you forget you contacted them. Thanks for the free packet of 5x7 paper.

I like very rick blacks and contrasty whites that do not overpower the image. This paper fill that particular niche for me. I love to print and often keep 1K sheets on hand just for the "good" prints as my wife calls them.

I am using this paper for giclee reproductions of an artist's paintings. The colors reproduce accurately, and the paper is heavy enough to handle without kinking.

Don't get me wrong, this paper shines for many different applications but I have found that it really excels with portraiture-especially b&w's. It is similar to Canon's Pro Luster product but thicker and richer in tonality. Give this paper a shot, you won't be disappointed.

I've been doing my own printing for many years. I've also used several different papers from matte to luster finish in search of a look and feel that has been hard to quantify. The RR Palo Duro Bayrta Fiber 300 is now my go to paper for any image that requires detail, great density and finish. It along with the RR Palo Duro Smooth Rag 310 are two of the best papers I've used in the past 20 years. Palo Duro Bayrta Fiber 300 is the perfect paper for landscapes, details and pop. Palo Duro Smooth Rag 310 is the perfect paper for those images that I want to look like fine art book illustrations. I love these papers. I also really appreciate the great customer service from RR, how the papers are packaged for delivery and how well they perform, time after time.

Just loaded my Epson P6000 with Red River Paulo Duro Baryta Fiber 300 and printed a 36”x24” landscape for a customer. I love the traditional baryta texture and the colors are spot on. I’m very pleased.

what paper to purchase for a 17x22 size paper package

I got an Epson P900 printer and wanted to purchase a package of 17x22 inch paper. Which paper to buy? I tried test shots with innumerable Red River papers and came up with Palo Duro Baryta as the paper closest to my beloved discontinued Red River San Gabriel paper. I am printing pictures that I took with my iPhone at a Vincent Van Gogh exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art. Printed and framed, using Museum glass, an 11x14 of A Walk at Twilight and hung it today. I had some dry wall/painter guys doing some work for me and they couldn't get over how beautiful it turned out. I also printed and framed a Van Gogh Olive Groves picture from the same show. This was 16x20 using Red River Palo Duro Baryta Fiber 17x22 paper. It was amazing, but I have to admit not as amazing as the San Gabriel print, but it could have been because I used acrylic rather than Museum Glass. The real test will be in a couple of weeks when my third Van Gogh print will be ready. 10x21 printed on Red River Palo Duro Baryta Fiber 17x22 paper and custom framed with museum glass. I also purchased a 50 sheet package of Palo Duro Baryta of 8.5x11. I like this paper.

Excellent archival paper

I'm doing several fine art shows that want all prints to be matted to archival standards. The Palo Duro Baryta fiber is a wonderful semi-gloss paper that works with either black and white or color images. I was very impressed with the papers ability to keep detail in dark shaded areas and the semi-gloss really lets the contrast stand out in B+W prints. I only ordered 11x14 but I'm going to go big and make some 17x22 prints for these shows.
