Compared to Palo Duro Etching, our other cold press cotton paper, Trinity River Velvet features a deeper texture. Making it the perfect choice for reproduction of watercolor artworks as well as any artwork or photograph that benefits from the extra texture in the paper.
Trinity River Velvet is made of 100% sustainably sourced cotton and is free from any optical brighteners It meets the highest standards for a true museum-grade archival paper Its color is a natural (very slightly warm) white.

* Heavy cotton art papers may not consistently auto-feed in the top main paper tray. They can be fed by hand easily, and may feed without assistance on some occasions. Returns on this paper are not accepted on the basis of feed problems.
* If your printer has a specialty media path, we recommend you use it with this paper. If you only have a top paper tray, you can use this product one sheet at a time.

Trinity River Velvet

I recently ordered a box of Trinity River Velvet thinking it might work nicely to print some of my favorite landscape photos for a gallery wall in my vacation home. The results were amazingly beautiful. The colors are rich and translate details with incredible depth. The texture of the paper gives an added dimension to my landscapes helping them really pop. I’m still in the process of editing and printing to complete my project but I couldn’t be more pleased with the results so far.

my line and watercolor wash prints on this paper come out beautifully. Lines crisp, and the watercolor looks great on the cold press texture. Thanks!

I like this paper, but I use an Epson 8550 and this paper can only be fed through the rear straight through feeder (a pain in the ....) It would have been a great paper if it was 3 to 4 mm thinner! Great texture and feel though!

A remarkable matte paper. Just the right amount of texture.
Canon Pro-200: Deep dark blacks are quite impressive on monochrome images.
Highlight areas in an image are beautifully rendered with the appropriate angled lighting.
