With a high gloss front and plain paper back, Pecos River Gloss 230 is the ideal glossy for greeting cards, note cards, and design presentations. Exclusive to Red River Paper, Pecos is the only "cast coated gloss" compatible with both pigment and dye inks. Pecos Gloss's plain paper back means you can print text and light graphics on the back of the paper (inside of your folded cards). Thanks to its brilliant white tone, color on Pecos pop and blacks are rich and deep.

Outstanding for Nightscape and Darker Wildlife Images

I primarily use Red River Pecos River Gloss 230 gsm Greeting Cards for my nightscape photography and other darker wildlife images where deep blacks and rich contrast are important. The glossy finish really brings those images to life with excellent detail and vibrant color. While I prefer a matte finish for many of my landscape and wildlife cards, this paper is my first choice whenever I want maximum impact from darker scenes. The pre-scored cards fold cleanly, and the included envelopes and clear sleeves give the finished product a polished, professional presentation. Overall, an excellent greeting card stock that has earned a permanent place in my workflow.

I've been using the 7x10, panoramic and square river gloss cards for a good while now and have been very happy with the results. The color profile for the paper seems very accurate and the dynamic range in shadows is very useful. Printing BW on the River Gloss is very good (Epson SureColor P600)! I'm very happy to have found Red River papers!

Needed card stock to send a card a week to our Granddaughter. Printing both sides gave her 3 pages of pictures and a note page. She got a card every week at camp
