Premium Matte 230 is a professional-grade photo matte inkjet paper. At 11 mil thickness and 230 gsm, Premium Matte Plus is thicker and heavier than retail-brand premium matte papers. The extra weight and thickness convey superior quality and allow the paper to handle the heaviest ink coverage. The surface is ultra-smooth, non-reflective, and bright white.
Matte papers are excellent when you need to focus on the details of an image without any reflective distractions. They also lend a subtle character to images that might not benefit from the punch of glossy or satin media. Graphic designers, illustrators, and artists often choose matte paper because it works so well at reproducing original artwork.

Great Matte Paper

Premium Matte 230 is my matte paper of choice for excellent rendition of my landscape photos. I have found it to be of low reflective qualities and excellent color rendition. It is also one of the more economical options for printing whether it be for greeting cards or panoramic prints.

I have been using Red River paper for over 12 years now and I can't imagine how I coul be happier. I have used UltraPro Gloss, Polar Gloss Metallic, and Polar Matte in both sheets and rolls and I have always ended up with prints that more than pleased me.
