I’ve just received my second order of Red River specialty papers (13” x 19” metallic finish) not including my initial sample pack about a month or so ago, and these papers have elevated my work to an unexpected level.
I’m just starting out in this photography for sales arena. I’ve been a part-time professional/ amateur photographer for many years I primarily did event photography, real estate listing packages, and other ‘boring’ types of work. Recently I’ve gotten into seascapes, landscapes and aerial photography (I'm a pilot) and have sold a few pieces along the way. But recently I’ve gone full retired mode (a retired infrastructure engineer) and started selling my prints at art fairs. When I display framed, matted prints, using your metallic finish papers, they turn heads.
A few days ago I was set up at a show where I had a half dozen framed, matted panoramic prints on sale. One was a Giclee print which I had to price accordingly, and the other four were prints I produced using your metallic finish papers in 13” x 38”. The metallic prints all sold. The Giclee came home with me and is still in my studio and won’t sell due to the price. I’m sure this is partly because of the market I’m selling in (not everyone understands or appreciates a Giclee), but I firmly believe the image and presentation quality of the Red River metallic paper was the difference.
Using this paper keeps my costs controlled, while producing stunning results. I’m a convert and you are my go-to paper resource. Many, many thanks for your fine products and, might I add, your extremely careful packaging. Both my orders arrived packed as if the parcel contained eggs. I appreciate that very much.
