No go with an Epson ET 2760

Love the weight and it would be perfect for postcards except that my EPSON ET 2760 just feeds it through without printing it. It says in the specs that it's 15 mils thick but mine measured almost 18 mils (.018") and I think that's the problem since I have other paper that's 16 mils and it prints fine. (This is why I only gave 3 stars) It comes in a really nice sturdy box which I appreciate since 50 sheets will probably last me a year or two.

Best Greeting Cards

The 7 x 10 inch (folded size is 5 x 7 inches) greeting card paper is my absolute favorite for reproducing my watercolor artwork on cards. I really wanted something that was thick and lush and sturdy. I tried the 60 lb polar matte but I far prefer the 88 lb. I haven't had any issues printing on my Canon Pro 200, I just only feed about 6 sheets at a time. The inside of the cards is a slightly off-white color. You can feel the quality when you pick up the cards--it's a cut above. The colors are gorgeous, and the cards are very suitable for framing, so my customers can either send them out or keep them!

An unfortunate upgrade from the old version

The previous version of Polar Matte 88 (years ago) was slightly less thick and was perfect for greeting cards. I haven’t been able to make this one work. It’s too thick and the spines always crack. It’s not usable for my purpose and I unfortunately had to stop selling cards, which hurt my business. I wish they hadn’t changed it. As a stand-alone paper for prints or something else, it’s beautiful.

It took me a long time to find good quality postcard paper that wasn't super flimsy. Super sturdy and prints my artwork vividly! I have a canon pixma TR8600 and it worked really well. I only wish it was able to print both sides!

Paper Jam

I really loved the thickness of this paper, however each time I would attempt to print with it, it would jam my Espon xp-6100.

Only Paper for Selling Art

I sell my art at comic conventions and I only use the 88lb Polar Matte in combination with OEM Cannon ink. Though I might be spending a bit on prints for an audience not familiar with high quality printing, I personally love the way it comes out and it reflects my digital art almost 100%.

Excellent for reproducing limited edition signed prints

I really love the 88# Polar Matte 11 x 14 for producing archival-quality giclée limited edition prints of my wife's artwork using an Epson P600 printer with Epson UltraChrome HD pigment-based photographic ink. Clean, crisp, sharp, excellent color rendition, on a nice heavier paper. I've been quite pleased with all the products I've purchased from Red River, and I especially value the helpful tutorial videos on related 3rd party products such as Adobe Photoshop Elements. I have no reason to shop elsewhere.

I turn my photographs into postcards (get 4 on a 8.5 by 11 sheet)… the 88-lb matte is the perfect weight,
