The original Aurora Art White weight is back! If you require archival grade cotton paper but prefer medium weight and thickness, this is the Aurora for you!
Made using refined 100% cotton, Aurora Art White 250 brings elegance, warmth, and nuance to your photography and art prints. This acid-free paper features a pleasing natural white tone and semi-smooth surface. Plus, Aurora Art White 250 contains minimal optical brighteners.
This is a benefit because the paper will remain its original shade over a long period of time. As an added bonus, you can print on both sides of Aurora. Neither too thick nor too thin, Aurora's 250gsm weight strikes the right balance between professional feel and ability to feed consistently into your printer. About Optical Brighteners (OBAs)
OBAs are a class of chemicals added to paper to make it appear "whiter" to your eye. These brighteners work by absorbing UV light and re-emitting light in the blue region. OBAs breakdown over time and allow the true, more natural shade of paper to emerge - thus yellowing will occur.
OBA breakdown does not affect the life of an inkjet print. However, the changing shade of the base paper will become more noticable over time.

Papers with the Archival designtation can take many forms. They can be glossy, matte, canvas, or an artistic product. These papers are acid free, lignin free and can be made of virgin tree fiber (alpha cellulose) or 25-100% cotton rag. They are likely to have optical or fluorescent brightening agents (OBAs) - chemicals that make the paper appear brighter white. Presence of OBAs does not indicate your image will fade faster. It does predict a slow change in the white point of your paper, especially if it is displayed without UV filter glass or acrylic.

Aurora White is the star of my business!
As a gardener and biologist, I have been drawing sometimes real, sometimes whimsical, flowers for many years. When I decided to try to transform my drawings into greeting cards, I struggled to print the art to my standard of quality. By some wonderful luck, I stumbled upon Red River Paper and Aurora White. With information and advice from Red River, I can now print high quality images of my art. I've been able to create not only greeting cards, but calendars, wall art, postcards, recipe cards and journals with this wonderful paper. Aurora White (and Red River) have made my little Etsy business a reality! Thank you!!!

Ultra Pro Gloss
This is my favorite glossy paper used in both HP 130 and Epson 3880 printers. It dries fast, the colors are bright and saturated. The gloss from the HP is mirrorlike because there are no pigments in the HP ink. I use it for 8 1/2 X 11 and 13-19's. I also use the fine art matte papers, and the prsentation and color is outstadning. I have been a Red River user for over 10 years. Even thier shipping is good and reasonable.
"To be competitive in printing, I need consistent quality along with multiple size choices for the different printers I use. I found that the UltraPro Satin from Red River Paper to be just the right surface for me to print on."
