Red River Paper provides limited support for the Epson Workforce series printers that use Epson 822 inks, including the following models:
- WF-3820
- WF-3823
- WF-4820
- WF-4830
- WF-4833
- WF-4834
Using ICC color correction profiles with your Epson Workforce printer is not required, however using our profiles will yield better color accuracy and greater saturation compared to using only the built-in automatic color management.
Red River Paper offers a full range of Fine Art Inkjet Papers and Photo Paper.

Thinking about buying an Epson Workforce printer?
While Epson Workforce printers are capable of printing photos an artworks onto our light- and medium-weight papers, they are expensive to operate. We were only able to print 9 pages using the included inks before they ran out. These printers are also designed to print text and business charts onto plain paper nicely, and the inks are not formulated for producing rich colors on glossy media. If you don't already own one of these printers, we recommend looking into an Epson ET-8500, Epson ET-8550, Canon G7020, Canon MAXIFY GX5020, or Canon Pro-200 instead - all of which produce much better prints and have much lower ink costs than the Epson Workforce printers.
Before printing photos or artwork with this printer, on the printers screen go to Maintenance -> Print Quality Adjustment so that you can print nicely.
Only print using "Standard" quality on this line of printers. Using higher quality settings will use very large amounts of very expensive ink and will produce worse results.
If you do already own an Epson Workforce printer, we have a few profiles available for this line and they should help a bit with getting accurate colors. If you need a profile that you don't see below, please contact our technical support and we can work with you to make one.

Compatible Media
Due to manufacturing tolerances, difference between models, and differences in local climate, each individual printer may behave slightly differently. Additionally, we have only tested a small selection of our media on this line of printers. Therefore we highly recommend ordering samples of any paper you intend to use with this printer so that you can test out the paper with your specific printer before committing to a whole box of anything.
Its also worth saying that the information below are guidelines based on our testing of this printer to help you get started quickly. Absolutely do experiment on your own. Read the manual for your printer. Play with different settings and try different feed paths, have fun learning your printer and see what works best for you.

Troubleshooting
We know all too well how frustrating printers can be sometimes! Here are some steps to take if you find yourself running into issues printing on your Epson printer using our media.
With any printer, the Epson Workforce series included, the first troubleshooting step if you are running into issues with color, centering/margins, paper jamming, missing media types, or other technical problems, is to ensure you have the latest official Epson printer driver installed.
You can download the official Epson driver from the Epson website
On Mac OS, doing a system update can cause the official Epson driver to be silently replaced by Apple's generic printer driver that they call "AirPrint". You can find instructions on how to find your driver version and install the correct one here: https://www.redrivercatalog.com/infocenter/how-to-fix-missin...
Often on Mac OS, even if you have the correct driver installed, removing the printer, updating the driver, and re-adding the printer and then rebooting the computer will fix the issue.
On Windows, if you connect the printer to the computer without having installed the Epson driver, it will use Microsoft's generic printer driver that they call "IPP". To correct the issue, simply download and install the latest driver from Epson's website and it will replace the generic printer driver with the correct one.
Most common issues are addressed in our Infocenter and our Frequently Asked Questions page.
