Such a Difference

I used the 88lb Polar Matte for printing postcards. I can't tell you enough how much of a difference it makes to use this excellent-quality paper for prints. My illustration-style (vector, not photos) designs come out brighter, stronger, and crisper than on anything else I've used. I'd definitely recommend the 88lb weight for postcards; it's the perfect weight for mailing without an envelope.

This is my new favorite paper

I upgraded to this from 60lb Polar Matte for my fine art prints. I am so happy I did. I do some hand embellished prints where I paint metallic gold paint on to the print, and this paper never warps or wrinkles from it. I get lots of reviews from costumers that are amazed by the quality of this paper. They are pleasantly surprised by the “museum quality”. I am getting more return buyers and I know it is partly due to this paper.

Love it!

Love paper, amazing for B&W prints and it makes my paintings look amazing! Occasionally I found a batch to have hidden marks if you print flat black surface but support was quick to help and resolve the issues. Wish there were more sizes though, for instance 5x5 which is common for artist to use on small prints.

Great Paper. Slightly Too Thick.

This paper is very good. The only issue is that it is slightly too thick and tends to want to warp and bow. The 60 lb. option of the Polar Matte is slightly too thin and can more easily bends and crinkle. I wish this paper was available somewhere in the 70 lb. range and it would be pretty perfect.

I cannot deal with how great this paper is. Amazon stopped stocking my favorite paper, so I was looking for something new. And oh man... the black ink prints SO CRISP. LORDT, it's amazing I will be staying with this company for sure.

Great for custom postcards

I make limited edition custom postcards from my photos and vintage images that I've collected. The 88# Polar Matte is a great weight for postcards and produces great images. I've printed color, sepia and B&W images and they all look great. Nice rich blacks.

Stereo Card Superstar!

I produce 3.5 x 7" stereo views and I finally found my paper! The thickness almost replicates the feel of old stereo cards perfectly and the matte finish eliminates glare and reflections. I originally ordered 5x7 cards to print in my Pixma Pro-100 but the rear feed doesn't accommodate them (too small) so I just reordered in full sheets and will print several per sheet and cut them down.

This feels so substantial in hand, surface is smooth and very matte. I use bright bold colors in my work and they print so true on this material. I am in love! Can you offer an eco- version of this someday?

Awesome postcard stock

I just received my order of the 88lb. Polar Matte. I love this postcard. It feels heavy enough to mail to friends. The surface is smooth and my photos look great on it. I plan on doing mainly black and white images and this is just what I was looking for. I will probably get the 5x7 next. And just in time to do Christmas postcards

Great!

I'm using 88lb Polar matte 5x7 cards as mailers to promote my illustration work to my best clients, and the paper works wonderfully well. I can feed four at a time on my Epson R2400, rather than having to feed them one at a time. Since I'm only printing a black return address on the reverse side, the plain paper surface there works well for me as well. I've had problems with other papers ripping apart in the mailing machines, believe it or not, but not this one. Thanks, Red River Paper!
