Description
The original Aurora Art Natural weight is back! If you require museum grade cotton paper but prefer medium weight and thickness, this is the Aurora for you!
Made using refined 100% cotton, Aurora Art Natural 250 brings elegance, warmth, and nuance to your photography and art prints. This acid-free paper features a pleasing natural white tone and semi-smooth surface. Plus, Aurora Art Natural 250 contains no optical brighteners.
This is a benefit because the paper will remain its original shade over a long period of time. As an added bonus, you can print on both sides of Aurora. Neither too thick nor too thin, Aurora's 250gsm weight strikes the right balance between professional feel and ability to feed consistently into your printer. OBAs are a class of chemicals added to paper to make it appear "whiter" to your eye. These brighteners work by absorbing UV light and re-emitting light in the blue region. OBAs breakdown over time and allow the true, more natural shade of paper to emerge - thus yellowing will occur.
OBA breakdown does not affect the life of an inkjet print. However, the changing shade of the base paper will become more noticable over time.
Papers with No OBA Content
AURORA ART NATURAL 285
PALO DURO SOFTGLOSS RAG®
Papers with Low OBA Content
Papers with low OBAs will shift in color slightly over a long period of time. The best way to minimize any OBA shift is to protect prints under UV resistant glass.
