If you don't mount a print to a backer properly, especially a large print, it will ripple and wrinkle, ruining the look of the image. The same is true for framing a loose print. The best product I've found and use regularly is 3M's 568 Positionable Mounting Adhesive. It does a beautiful job helping me produce professional-looking mounts without sprays, mess or fumes. The adhesive comes in fifty-foot-long rolls by eleven, sixteen or twenty-four inches wide. It's clean, dry, and odorless, easy to cut and simple to apply. Worth every penny!
